Job summary

ENERCON GmbH is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer - Heavy Steel (m/f/d) in Portugal. You will develop and support suppliers of heavy steel and fastening elements, qualify new suppliers and components, and conduct regular supplier evaluations to ensure top performance.

Ideal candidates hold a degree in mechanical/industrial/manufacturing engineering, have several years of experience in wind/energy, and possess very good English (German a plus).

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, or a comparable technical field.
• Several years of professional experience (ideally in the wind or energy sector).
• Very good English skills; German is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and support suppliers in the field of heavy steel and fastening elements.
• Qualify new suppliers and components.
• Carry out supplier evaluations based on performance metrics.
• Carry out regular quality reviews and manage supplier quality issues.
