ENERCON in Portugal is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer to develop and support suppliers in the field of heavy steel and fastening elements. This role involves qualifying new suppliers and components and conducting supplier evaluations based on performance metrics.

The ideal candidate should have a degree in Mechanical Engineering, several years of experience in the wind or energy sector, and strong technical understanding. The position offers a hybrid working model along with private health insurance and opportunities for career growth.

Qualificações

• Several years of professional experience in supplier management, ideally in the wind or energy sector.
• Willingness to travel regularly, both domestically and internationally.
• Very good English skills; German is a plus.

Your Responsibilities:

• Develop and support suppliers in the field of heavy steel and fastening elements;
• Qualify new suppliers and components;
• Conduct supplier evaluations based on performance metrics;
• Perform supplier process audits;
• Carry out regular quality reviews and manage supplier quality issues.

Your Qualifications:

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, or a comparable technical field;
• Several years of professional experience (ideally in the wind or energy sector);
• Very good English skills; German is a plus;
• Strong technical understanding;
• Willingness to travel regularly, both domestically and internationally.
