Testo Portugal seeks an experienced Project Manager to own international development initiatives, unifying hardware, software, and quality. You will guide cross-functional teams across engineering, QA, production, and product management to deliver cohesive, reliable products.

The role requires a technical degree, several years in industrial project management with embedded software, and a strong systems perspective.

Qualificações

• Degree in a technical field (e.g. mechanical engineering, mechatronics, electrical engineering, industrial engineering, or similar)
• Several years of experience as a project manager in industry with hardware and software development, ideally embedded software
• Solid technical overview across engineering disciplines to assess input from development, quality, and production
• Systems thinking to grasp complex technical relationships and dependencies
• Experience with quality management systems and methods (e.g. QKT, FMEA, quality gates)
• Strong risk awareness and experience in structured risk management for complex projects
• Excellent communication across all levels, from engineers to board presentations
• Structured, pragmatic, self-driven work style with initiative
• Fluent English is essential in an international environment

Responsabilidades

• Own international development projects, coordinating with HQ in Germany and site in China
• Lead cross-functional teams across hardware, software, quality, production, and product management
• Maintain a system-level view of the product, identifying risks and ensuring subsystems contribute to a working end product
• Critically evaluate progress reports, quality assessments, and dependencies across project areas
• Proactively identify risks, define concrete measures, and drive resolution
• Present project status, risks, and proposals to top management clearly and concisely
• Communicate effectively with engineers to the executive board, maintaining appropriate detail
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to align on goals
