Job summary

Thermo Fisher Scientific in Portugal invites a Global Patient Safety (GPS) Quality Management Manager to oversee the Pharmacovigilance QMS and ensure compliant, efficient operation across GPS.

You will drive continuous improvement, manage training and procedural documents, and coordinate with QA and partners to sustain inspection readiness and robust CAPA processes in a global, cross-functional setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy, nursing, healthcare or life-science field or country equivalent.
• At least 5 years in pharmaceutical/biotech with 3+ years in pharmacovigilance/drug safety.
• Experience operating pharmacovigilance quality systems and hosting audits.

Responsibilities

• Lead GPS internal audit program and inspection readiness activities.
• Coordinate corrective actions and root-cause analysis with GPS team.
• Develop and maintain GPS training curricula and procedural documents.
• Monitor KPI development and compliance with PVAs, SDEAs and other agreements.
• Support document control through Veeva and other tools.
