Muehlhan Wind Service in Mortágua, Portugal, seeks an experienced LV/MV Cable Technician for international projects on a 3 weeks on / 1 week off rotation in Portugal. You will install, terminate, test, and commission LV/MV cables in major energy infrastructure, working within an international team and adhering to safety and quality standards.

The role offers exposure to renewable energy projects, continuous training, and opportunities for professional growth in a dynamic, fast-growing sector.

Qualificações

• Solid knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems.
• Proven experience routing, installing, and connecting LV/MV cables.
• Experience performing LV/MV terminations and joints on factory and on-site.
• Experience with electrical testing including VLF, insulation resistance, and continuity tests.
• Ability to test and troubleshoot cable systems effectively.
• Strong commitment to health, safety and quality standards.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
• Ability to work in international and multicultural environments.
• English proficiency at least B1 level.

Responsabilidades

• Perform routing, installation and connection of LV and MV power cables.
• Terminations and joints for LV/MV in factory and on-site.
• Carry out electrical testing (VLF, insulation, continuity).
• Test and troubleshoot cable systems to resolve issues.
• Read and interpret technical docs, drawings, and specs.
• Support commissioning and ensure project requirements.
• Maintain tools and work areas in safe, organized condition.
• Ensure health, safety, environment and quality standards.
• Identify and report technical issues for project delivery.
