Muehlhan Wind Service in Mortágua, Portugal, seeks an experienced LV/MV Cable Technician for international projects on a 3 weeks on / 1 week off rotation in Portugal. You will install, terminate, test, and commission LV/MV cables in major energy infrastructure, working within an international team and adhering to safety and quality standards.

Qualificações

• Solid knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems.
• Proven experience routing, installing, and connecting LV/MV cables.
• Experience performing LV/MV terminations and joints on factory and on-site.
• Experience with electrical testing including VLF, insulation resistance, and continuity tests.
• Ability to test and troubleshoot cable systems effectively.
• Strong commitment to health, safety and quality standards.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
• Ability to work in international and multicultural environments.
• English proficiency at least B1 level.

Responsabilidades

LV/MV Cable Technician | International Projects (Rotation 3/1)

We are looking for experienced LV/MV Cable Technicians to join our international projects across the globe. This role is responsible for supporting the installation, connection, testing, and commissioning of LV and MV power cable systems within major energy infrastructure projects.

About The Role

As an LV/MV Cable Technician, you will perform cable installation, termination, testing, and troubleshooting activities, ensuring all work is executed according to technical specifications, safety regulations, and quality standards.

Working as part of an international team, you will contribute to the successful delivery of critical energy infrastructure projects worldwide. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic and rapidly growing sector while supporting the development of renewable energy and power infrastructure.

This role operates on a rotational schedule of 3 weeks working on site followed by 1 week off in Portugal.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routing, installation, and connection of LV and MV power cables.
• Execute LV and MV cable terminations and joints in both factory and on-site environments.
• Carry out electrical testing activities, including VLF, insulation, and continuity tests.
• Test and troubleshoot cable systems to identify and resolve technical issues.
• Read and interpret technical documentation, drawings, and project specifications.
• Support commissioning activities and ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a safe and organized condition.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards at all times.
• Identify and report technical issues, contributing to effective project delivery.

Skills, Knowledge And Experience

• Solid knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems (mandatory and assessed during the recruitment process).
• Proven experience in routing, installing, and connecting LV/MV cables.
• Experience performing LV/MV terminations and joints in both factory and on-site conditions.
• Experience with electrical testing, including VLF, insulation resistance, and continuity tests.
• Ability to test and troubleshoot cable systems effectively.
• Strong commitment to health, safety, and quality standards.
• High attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
• Ability to work effectively within an international and multicultural environment.
• English language proficiency at a minimum B1 level (mandatory and assessed during the recruitment process).
