Muehlhan Wind Service is seeking an experienced Fiber Optic Technician to support installation and maintenance across Europe. You will work as part of an international team on energy infrastructure projects, ensuring quality and safety.

The role is based in Germany with a rotational schedule of 3 weeks on site followed by 2 weeks off in Portugal, offering stability, growth, and international exposure.

Qualificações

• Proven experience as a Fiber Optic Technician in telecommunications, energy, industrial, infrastructure, or construction environments.
• Experience with fiber optic fusion splicing, termination, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings and documentation.
• Familiarity with OTDR testing and other fiber optic testing equipment.
• Knowledge of fiber optic installation standards and best practices.
• Experience in substations, energy infrastructure, or high-voltage projects is considered an advantage, but is not mandatory.
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety standards.
• Ability to work effectively in an international and multicultural environment.
• Intermediate English skills are mandatory.
• Willingness to work on a rotational basis (3 weeks in Germany / 2 weeks off in Portugal).

Responsabilidades

• Perform fiber optic installation and assembly activities according to project specifications.
• Install, route, fusion splice, terminate, and test fiber optic cables and associated equipment.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and project documentation.
• Conduct fiber optic testing using appropriate equipment and document test results.
