Job summary

Talent Search People is seeking a Country Logistics Manager to lead warehousing and distribution between Sintra and Castanheira do Ribatejo. You will define the country logistics strategy and oversee warehousing, transportation and inventory to ensure efficient goods flow and high service levels.

You will lead the local logistics team, manage 3PL relationships and collaborate with Customer Service, Sales, Supply Chain and Finance to support growth and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of logistics/warehousing/distribution leadership experience.
• Experience managing finished goods distribution and warehouse operations (MUST).
• Experience leading teams and 3PLs (MUST).
• Strong English and Portuguese proficiency (MUST).
• Experience with SAP in logistics environments (MUST).

Do you enjoy combining operational leadership with continuous improvement? We're looking for a Country Logistics Manager to lead warehousing and distribution activities between Sintra and Castanheira do Ribatejo.

What will you do?

• Define and implement the country logistics strategy in line with business and supply chain objectives.
• Oversee warehousing, transportation, distribution and inventory activities, ensuring an efficient flow of goods and high service levels.
• Lead, coach and develop the local logistics team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement.
• Manage relationships with logistics service providers, monitoring service levels and driving performance improvements.
• Collaborate closely with Customer Service, Sales, Supply Chain and Finance teams to support business growth and customer satisfaction.
• Monitor logistics KPIs, identify improvement opportunities and implement corrective actions when required.
• Lead continuous improvement, process standardisation and digitalisation initiatives across logistics operations.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, health & safety standards and local regulations.

Who we look for

• 5+ years of experience in logistics, warehousing or distribution management, with a strong focus on finished goods operations.
• Strong experience managing warehouse operations and the distribution of finished goods (MUST).
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration or a related field.
• Previous experience leading teams and managing third-party logistics providers (3PLs).
• Portuguese native level and professional fluency in English (MUST).
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management and continuous improvement capabilities.
• Hands-on approach, with the ability to balance operational execution and strategic thinking.
• Experience working with SAP within a logistics environment (MUST).
• Strong understanding of logistics KPIs, operational performance and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Availability to work across both Sintra and Castanheira do Ribatejo.
