Siemens Energy in Portugal seeks an experienced HVDC Systems Test Engineer to join the EC CO2 team. You will test and verify hardware and software for HVDC projects, collaborating with multinational teams and customers during commissioning to ensure functional performance.

The role covers executing FPT/DPT tests, workshop tests at suppliers, system open loop testing, and on-site commissioning. Fluent English and German, willingness to travel globally, and a background in electrical engineering

Qualificações

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in electrical engineering/energy tech.
Technician certification accepted as alternative qualification.
Fluent in English and German is desired.

Responsabilidades

Execute and document Functional Performance Tests (FPT) and Dynamic Performance Tests (DPT) of C&P hardware and software, including Customer Acceptance Tests at the Test Center in Germany.
Plan, execute, and evaluate workshop tests for C&P hardware at sub-suppliers’ factory.
Prepare and execute testing procedures for the System Open Loop Control.
Ensure technically flawless commissioning of HVDC systems on-site, including testing of primary and secondary components.
Support Commissioning Management in Quality, Risk, and Claim Management; contribute to Lean, Reviews, and Lessons Learned.
