Job summary

Revolut is seeking an External Enquiry Analyst to join our Financial Crime team. You will detect and investigate risks impacting customers, working closely with Compliance to safeguard funds and ensure robust protection against financial crime.

Your role may involve night and weekend shifts to support 24/7 coverage, with full compensation for those times. You will interact with law enforcement and legal teams to resolve external requests efficiently.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Fluency in English (C1+ level) and Italian (C1+ level).
• 2+ years of FinCrime experience or 1+ year dealing with external law enforcement.
• Familiarity with investigative methodologies evidenced by analytical tools.
• Knowledge of court orders, DPA, PO, and preparing witness statements.
• Confidence communicating with people at all levels, externally and internally.
• Critical thinking skills; ability to multitask, prioritise, and work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Liaising with law enforcement.
• Responding to court orders, DPAs, and POs, complying with POCA and DPA.
• Ensuring requests are completed within the applicable time scales.
• Liaising with the Legal team as necessary.
• Preparing documentation for third-party requests.
• Conducting fraud-related investigations based on reports received.
• Generating reports and creating alerts for suspicious activity.
• Discussing financial crime concerns with team members across departments and seniority.
