CordenPharma in Lisbon is seeking a Global Application Senior Manager who will take ownership of a portfolio of business-critical applications and ensure their performance, compliance, security, and continuous improvement across our global sites.

You will define roadmaps, lead evaluations and upgrades, coordinate validation, and partner with stakeholders, IT teams and vendors to support global growth in a regulated GMP environment.

Qualificações

• Must have a degree in IT/CS/Engineering or related field.
• Experience managing enterprise laboratory and manufacturing applications in GMP environments.
• Proven experience leading IT projects and cross-functional teams.

Responsabilidades

• Act as Global System Owner for multiple business-critical applications.
• Define and drive application roadmaps aligned with business and IT strategies.
• Lead application evaluations, upgrades, and global implementation projects.
• Drive process optimization, digitalization, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure application governance, compliance, security, and regulatory alignment.
• Partner with business stakeholders, IT teams, and vendors to support global business growth.
• Administer and maintain multiple global applications.
• Ensure stable system performance via support, troubleshooting, and enhancements.
• Manage external service providers and outsourced support.
• Coordinate system upgrades, testing, validation, and deployment activities.
• Deliver user training and support key-user communities.
• Act as the main contact for suppliers, auditors, and local IT teams.
• Ensure qualification, validation, documentation, and audit readiness of assigned systems.

Your Tasks

To strengthen our Global IT organization, we are looking for a Global Application Senior Manager who will take ownership of a portfolio of business-critical applications and ensure their performance, compliance, security, and continuous improvement across our global sites.

Strategic Responsibilities

• Act as Global System Owner for multiple business-critical applications.
• Define and drive application roadmaps aligned with business and IT strategies.
• Lead application evaluations, upgrades, and global implementation projects.
• Drive process optimization, digitalization, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure application governance, compliance, security, and regulatory alignment.
• Partner with business stakeholders, IT teams, and vendors to support global business growth.

Operational Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain multiple global applications.
• Ensure stable system performance through support, troubleshooting, and enhancements.
• Manage external service providers and outsourced support.
• Coordinate system upgrades, testing, validation, and deployment activities.
• Deliver user training and support key-user communities.
• Act as the main point of contact for suppliers, auditors, business users, and local IT teams.
• Ensure qualification, validation, documentation, and audit readiness of assigned systems.

The application portfolio may include solutions supporting areas such as time management, sales, quality risk assessment, and other business-critical applications. The exact application landscape may vary depending on business needs and the successful candidate’s experience.

Your Profile

• Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Experience managing and supporting enterprise laboratory and manufactacturing applications, incl. ELN, Signals ELN, ChemDraw, MODDE, SOLO and Chromeleon within GMP regulated environments.
• Proven experience leading IT projects and cross-functional project teams.
• Strong stakeholder management and vendor management skills.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication abilities.
• Goal-oriented, proactive, and able to perform in a dynamic international environment.

Nice to Have

• Experience within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or CDMO industry.
• Knowledge of qualification, validation, and GxP requirements.
• Experience with IT networks, IT/OT governance, and regulated manufacturing environments.
• Additional language skills in German, French, Italian, or Portuguese.
