BlueView Talent invites a Customer Specialist to join a Banking Project in Porto. You will guide customers through banking questions across channels, delivering accurate, friendly assistance and protecting data security.

Fluency in German (C1/C2) and English (B2) is required, along with EU citizenship or Portuguese residency and at least 1 year in customer support. Hybrid work with relocation support is offered.

Role Overview

As a Customer Specialist within a Banking Project, you will assist customers with a variety of banking-related questions, ensuring they receive accurate information, reliable guidance, and efficient support.

Your responsibilities will include handling inquiries about bank accounts, transactions, payments, cards, online banking, account access, and general banking services. You will communicate with customers through different channels, including phone, email, chat, and other digital platforms, helping them understand available services and resolve any issues they may encounter.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide professional, friendly, and efficient customer support through phone, email, chat, and other communication channels.
• Assist customers with inquiries related to bank accounts, card services, transactions, payments, and digital banking platforms.
• Guide customers through banking procedures and explain relevant services, processes, and account-related information.
• Provide accurate information while adhering to internal policies, security protocols, and regulatory requirements.
• Identify customer needs and offer appropriate solutions in a timely and effective manner.
• Handle customer concerns, complaints, and transaction-related questions professionally, escalating complex cases when necessary.
• Support customers experiencing difficulties with online banking, account access, card usage, and other banking services.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, requests, and resolutions in internal systems.
• Collaborate with relevant departments to investigate and resolve customer issues efficiently.
• Protect confidential customer information and follow established data protection and verification procedures.
• Maintain high standards of service quality, accuracy, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
• Participate in ongoing training to stay informed about banking products, digital services, operational procedures, and compliance requirements.

Requirements

• Language Skills: Fluent in German (C1/C2 level) and English (B2 level)
• Eligibility: EU citizenship or valid Portuguese residency card
• Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in Customer Support
• Skills: Strong analytical, creative, and communication abilities
