WIT Software seeks experienced Backend Software Engineers to join our Product Team and work on Generative AI-driven telecom backends. You will design RESTful APIs, build high-performance servers with Go/Java/Node.js, and contribute to AI pipelines and RAG workflows.

Fluent English, strong CS fundamentals, and the ability to work independently are essential. Coimbra, Portugal-based opportunity with growth and global impact.

Qualificações

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Strong knowledge of design patterns, testing, and code reviews.
• Solid understanding of Internet protocols and networking basics.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.

Responsabilidades

• Write clean, scalable backend code.
• Develop high-performance servers with Go/Java/Node.js.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs and gRPC.
• Integrate AI models and RAG workflows.
• Fine-tune models and manage vector databases (Pinecone, Milvus).
• Document code and technical decisions.
• Support production deployments with speed tuning.
