Job summary

EY is seeking a Consultant/Senior Consultant – Generative AI Engineer in Lisbon. You will architect and deliver AI solutions for diverse clients, leveraging Azure AI and Foundation Models to drive business value and operational excellence.

In this role you’ll build PoCs, apply prompt-engineering, and design end-to-end AI pipelines. You’ll collaborate with clients, ensure governance and ethics, and continuously evolve your skills within EY’s AI framework to deliver high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (CS, Engineering, Informatics, Data Science).
• Hands-on experience with LLM workflows and tools like ML PromptFlow.
• Proficiency in Visual Studio Code.
• Experience with cloud technologies (Azure, AWS, GCP), especially Azure AI Services.
• Experience building AI products using LLMs, embeddings, or NLP tech with Vector Search.
• Strong foundation in Foundation Models concepts; building and deploying them for real-world use.
• Experience with ML and deep learning, plus data sources like Azure Data Lake/Synapse/SQL.
• Excellent client communication and Agile experience.
• Proficient in Python or similar AI/ML languages.

Responsibilities

• Develop PoCs using pre-trained Foundation Models and assist stakeholders with analysis and implementation.
• Apply prompt-engineering techniques to use cases and model types.
• Collaborate with clients to rapidly develop AI solutions using Azure AI.
• Apply Foundation Models to validate business hypotheses and queries.
• Demonstrate growth mindset and analytical skills to identify transformation opportunities.
• Design, implement, and productize AI pipelines with best practices for data handling and deployment.
• Architect end-to-end LLMOps solutions ensuring scalability and reliability.
• Develop Generative AI solutions and prompt management frameworks.
