Job summary

Aubay Portugal seeks an experienced Functional Tester to join our banking IT environment, focusing on wealth management, securities, and FX order management. You will design and execute test cases, manage defects, and validate end-to-end processes across complex systems.

Fluent English is required for an international setting; 2/3 hybrid work model is offered with ongoing training, health coverage, and career development opportunities.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in a banking IT environment (wealth management, securities or FX order management).
• Experience in functional testing, including test case design, execution and defect management.
• SQL proficiency for data analysis, test validation and reporting; familiarity with Jira/Confluence.

Responsibilities

• Translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications, use cases and user stories.
• Design and execute test cases; manage defects across complex systems.
• Perform end-to-end validation and ensure quality in banking applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an international environment.

• Solid experience as a Functioanl Tester with 8+ years in a banking IT environment, specifically in wealth management, securities, or foreign exchange order management;
• Proven expertise in functional testing, including test case design, execution, defect management, and end-to-end validation across complex systems;
• Demonstrated ability to elicit, analyze, and translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications, use cases, and user stories;
• Strong command of SQL for data analysis, investigation, and test validation, along with practical experience with Jira and Confluence;
• Fluent English for effective communication in an international environment;
