Capgemini Portugal is launching a Tech Hub in Porto, offering a flexible hybrid work model that supports office and remote work aligned with the company’s policy. The role focuses on designing and implementing cloud-native infrastructure, automating through IaC, and building reliable, scalable platforms in close collaboration with developers and operations teams.

Qualificações

• Experience with at least one public cloud provider (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud).
• Solid programming skills in one language used for automation (e.g., Java, Python).
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred; CloudFormation, ARM, or Pulumi acceptable).

Responsabilidades

• Design and implement cloud-native infrastructure for modern applications.
• Develop and maintain IaC with best practices.
• Build automation/tools and pipelines to improve platform reliability and developer experience.
• Collaborate with developers to ensure cloud-ready, observable, and resilient systems.
• Troubleshoot cloud and platform issues and contribute to root cause analysis.

YOUR ROLE

• Design and implement cloud-native infrastructure that supports modern application architectures.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using software engineering best practices.
• Build automation and tooling (scripts, services, pipelines) to improve platform reliability and developer experience.
• Collaborate closely with application developers to ensure systems are cloud‑ready, observable, and resilient.
• Troubleshoot cloud and platform issues, participating in incident resolution and root cause analysis.
• Experience working in cloud-native production environments, supporting real systems and real users.
• Ability to think like an engineer: design for failure, scalability, and evolution.
• Comfortable working in cross-functional teams combining cloud, development, and operations.
• Ability to document designs, architectures, and operational procedures clearly.
• Experience working in Agile / DevOps environments.

YOUR PROFILE

• Strong hands‑on experience with at least one public cloud provider (AWS/ Azure/ Google Cloud).
• Solid programming skills in at least one language such as Java, Python, used for automation or tooling.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred;CloudFormation, ARM, orPulumi acceptable).
• Experience with containerized workloads and orchestration platforms.
• Familiarity with CI/CD systems and developer workflows (GitLab CI, GitHub Actions Azure DevOps, etc.).
• Good understanding of Linux systems.
