Signify Technology is seeking a Fullstack Engineer in Lisbon, Portugal to own end-to-end feature development across software platforms. You will collaborate with Product Management, detailing requirements and reviewing progress. The role leans backend with Ruby on Rails and includes exposure to React on the frontend.

Mentorship will support transitioning from Python or Java to Ruby on Rails. The engineer will develop backend features, assist frontend tasks when needed, and contribute to tests

Qualificações

• Degree in Software Engineering or related field.
• 6+ years backend web application development experience.
• Strong Ruby on Rails experience with willingness to transition from Python/Java.
• Fluency in English and Portuguese (written and spoken).

Responsabilidades

You will work closely with the Product Management team throughout the software development process, detailing requirements, reviewing work in progress, and addressing issues found through manual test efforts. This is a backend leaning role, working primarily with Ruby on Rails, with some exposure to React on the frontend.

Fullstack Engineer

• Experience with HTML and CSS a plus, though this role leans primarily backend
• Demonstrated understanding of relational database concepts and modeling practices
• Passion for actively learning new technologies
• Ability to work independently or as part of a group effort, as required
• Solid problem solving abilities
