Signify Technology is seeking a Fullstack Engineer in Lisbon, Portugal to own end-to-end feature development across software platforms. You will collaborate with Product Management, detailing requirements and reviewing progress. The role leans backend with Ruby on Rails and includes exposure to React on the frontend.

Mentorship will support transitioning from Python or Java to Ruby on Rails. The engineer will develop backend features, assist frontend tasks when needed, and contribute to tests

Qualificações

• Degree in Software Engineering or related field.
• 6+ years backend web application development experience.
• Strong Ruby on Rails experience with willingness to transition from Python/Java.
• Fluency in English and Portuguese (written and spoken).

Responsabilidades

• Backend feature development in Ruby and Rails
• Support frontend development in React and Redux as needed
• Unit and integration test development with RSpec, Cucumber, and Capybara
• Building out prototypes and proofs of concepts
• Active participation in daily stand up meetings
• Active participation in peer code reviews as part of the SDLC and change management
