Job summary

EPAM Systems Inc in Portugal is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer for a fully remote role. You will shape how software evolves, balancing quick delivery with long-term resilience, and work across platforms to ensure scalable, reliable products.

You will apply modern JavaScript with React, Redux, GraphQL, and testing tools to deliver robust features. The role emphasizes security, CI/CD, code quality, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Fluency in JavaScript with modern ES6 syntax and CSS3; expert knowledge of ReactJS, Redux, GraphQL, Jasmine, Jest, redux-saga, redux-thunk, webpack, eslint, WebdriverIO, nginx and Jenkins.
• Understanding of web app designs, CI/CD, web testing automation, secure coding practices and security-focused testing, and browser testing with Saucelabs.
• Solid knowledge of source control, especially Git and GitHub flows, and understanding of web app designs and CI/CD.
• Fluency in either Android (Java 8+, Kotlin, SQLite), iOS (Swift, Objective-C, Cocoapods) or C++ technology set; experience with IDEs.
• Understanding of mobile app designs, CI/CD, mobile testing automation and secure coding practices; solid knowledge of source control, Git flow and GitHub flows.
• Experience deploying an app on Google Play or Apple App Store, and experience with dependencies, SDKs and API contracts.
• Fluency in Java and/or Python; strong knowledge of software development methodologies; deep understanding of API design (OAuth, RESTful, GraphQL) and cloud platforms.
• Experience with distributed data systems (Spark, BigQuery, Kafka) and data modeling (SQL/NoSQL).
