Capgemini Portugal is seeking a Fullstack Developer Writer to create, maintain, and structure technical documentation for APIs, guides, and release notes in Porto. You will translate complex concepts into clear content, collaborate with cross‑functional teams, and apply docs‑as‑code workflows using Markdown, Confluence, and API platforms in a hybrid work environment.

This role emphasizes strong attention to detail and clear written communication.

Qualificações

• Translate technical concepts into clear documentation for developers and non‑technical audiences.
• Familiar with API documentation practices (OpenAPI/AsyncAPI) and docs‑as‑code workflows.
• Experience collaborating with Engineering, Platform, SRE, Security, and Product teams.
• Ability to structure content with templates, style guides, and terminology.
• Proficient with Markdown, Confluence, and API documentation platforms.

• Create, maintain, and structure technical documentation such as user guides, developer guides, API docs, and release notes.
• Collaborate closely with Engineering, Platform, SRE, Security, and Product teams to keep docs aligned with architecture and API lifecycles.
• Produce high‑quality guides, tutorials, quickstarts, use‑case examples, and architectural explanations.
• Translate complex technical content into clear, audience‑appropriate content.
• Define documentation structure, content strategy, style guides, templates, and terminology.
• Update documentation in line with product changes and Agile delivery cycles.

YOUR ROLE

• Create, maintain, and structure technical documentation such as user guides, developer guides, API documentation, and release notes.
• Work closely with Engineering, Platform, SRE, Security, and Product teams to capture accurate information and ensure documentation evolves with the system’s architecture, API lifecycle, and operational processes.
• Produce high‑quality guides, tutorials, quickstarts, use‑case examples, integration flows, and architectural explanations that help engineers achieve successful out‑comes quickly.
• Translate complex technical content into clear, concise, and audience‑appropriate documentation
• Define documentation structure, content strategy, style guides, templates, and termi‑nology. Ensure consistency, completeness, and adherence to documentation best practices.
• Update documentation in line with product changes, releases, and Agile delivery cycles.

YOUR PROFILE

• Strong analytical and structuring skills, with excellent attention to detail
• Clear written communication, adaptable to technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Experience collaborating with cross‑functional technical teams.
• Solid knowledge of software development concepts and API documentation (OpenAPI/AsyncAPI, lifecycle).
• Hands‑on with docs-as-code, Git‑based workflows, and documentation tools (Markdown, Confluence).
• Experience in Agile/DevOps environments with strong time management and prioritization.
• Familiarity with developer portals and API documentation platforms (e.g., Backstage, Stoplight).
• Ability to read basic source code (nice to have).
