Job summary

ICT Strypes, a Dutch-Portuguese software development company with offices in Lisbon and Porto, is hiring a Front-End Developer in Porto. You will build and evolve Angular applications, own front-end topics, and collaborate across Europe in a multicultural environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of front-end development experience.
• Strong knowledge of Angular (preferably Angular 17 or newer).
• Solid knowledge of TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and SCSS.
• Experience working with APIs and design systems.
• Experience with CI/CD tools like GitLab CI/CD.
• Experience with unit and integration testing in front-end apps.
• Good communication skills in English.
• A system-level mindset: understand how the front-end connects to the rest of the product.
• Proactive attitude and willingness to contribute ideas.

Responsibilities

• Build, test, and maintain Angular applications using TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML and SCSS daily.
• Apply modern Angular practices, such as standalone components and the new control-flow syntax.
• Turn functional requirements and UI designs into clean, scalable front-end code and discuss front-end architecture.
• Own front-end features from start to finish; support quality via code reviews and automated tests.
• Collaborate with product owners, UX/UI designers and engineers to deliver a coherent product experience.
• Work according to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
