Hiring International seeks a French-speaking Technical Customer Support Specialist to join its international team in Portugal. You will provide technical assistance to customers, troubleshoot issues, and ensure a high-quality experience through professional communication.

This fully remote role is open to Porto or Lisbon-based candidates, with Porto office visits once every three months. Fluency in French at native/C2 and English at least B2 is required, as is basic SQL knowledge.

About The Role

We are looking for a French-speaking Technical Customer Support Specialist to join an international and fast-paced team in Portugal.

In this role, you will provide technical assistance to customers, troubleshoot issues, and ensure a high-quality customer experience through effective and professional communication.

This is a fully remote position, open to candidates based in Porto or Lisbon, with the flexibility to work from home and visit the Porto office once every three months.

Your Responsibilities

• Provide technical customer support in French via phone, email, chat, or other support channels
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently
• Understand customer needs and provide clear, accurate solutions
• Investigate and document technical incidents
• Escalate complex issues to the appropriate technical teams when required
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and troubleshooting steps
• Use internal systems and databases to identify and resolve technical issues
• Collaborate with international teams to ensure excellent customer service
• Follow established technical support procedures and quality standards

Requirements

• Native-level or C2 French
• English at B2 level or higher
• Basic knowledge of SQL is required
• Previous experience in technical customer support, IT support, helpdesk, or a similar role is an advantage
• Good troubleshooting and analytical skills
• Comfortable working with technical systems and digital tools
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment
• Must be based in Portugal, preferably in the Porto or Lisbon area
• Willingness to visit the Porto office once every 3 months

SQL Knowledge

You don't need to be an SQL expert. Basic SQL knowledge is sufficient, but you should be comfortable understanding simple queries and working with databases.
