Job summary

CloserHire is partnering with a leading global customer experience provider to recruit French-speaking Customer Support Specialists for an exciting Car Rental Services project in Porto. In this role, you will support customers for one of Europe’s leading car rental brands, assisting them throughout their rental journey — before, during, and after rental.

You will handle reservations, inquiries, and post-rental concerns while maintaining professionalism and empathy, delivering service in French

Still in France? This role is in Porto, Portugal and the move is paid for. €1,000 per month × 14 salaries (gross), plus 2000€ signing bonus.

Where this job is

To be clear before you read on: the job is in Porto, Portugal, not in France. You would be relocating. Most people we place have never lived abroad before, and the company covers the parts that usually stop people.

What the move covers

• Relocation from outside of Portugal: Room in a shared apartment for a maximum period of 12 months, with rent of 280€ with all utilities bills included (discounted directly from the payslip). Relocation from inside of Portugal: we don't provide unless the candidates are currently in the accomodation of competitors

What you'll earn in Portugal

€1,000 per month × 14 salaries (gross), plus 2000€ signing bonus

Portuguese contracts pay 14 salaries a year — your normal monthly salary plus a holiday and a Christmas salary. The annual figure is well above monthly × 12, which is worth working out before you compare it to an offer at home.

Day to day that means provide exceptional customer support via phone, email, and messaging channels, assist customers with car rental reservations, products, and related services, support customers before rental, during rental, and after rental, including inquiries related to invoices, damages, and rental agreements, identify customer needs and recommend additional services when relevant, deliver personalized and solution-oriented customer service while maintaining high customer satisfaction, handle support in both French and English, depending on customer needs, and resolve customer concerns efficiently while maintaining professionalism and empathy.
