Qualifications

• Proven experience implementing EU Pay Transparency Directive or similar pay equity initiatives.
• Strong background in Compensation & Benefits, reward strategy, remuneration governance, or HR transformation.
• Experience designing job architecture, evaluation methodologies, grading, and salary structures.
• Experience conducting gender pay gap analysis and reporting.
• Knowledge of Portuguese legislation for employers.
• Ability to translate regulatory requirements into actionable processes.
• Fluent in English and Portuguese.
• Experience with multinational organizations and HRIS or analytics tools.

Responsibilities

• Assess current compensation against EU directives and Portuguese law.
• Develop and implement a pay transparency framework.
• Review remuneration policies, salary structures, and governance.
• Design or refine job architecture and grading systems.
• Conduct gender pay gap analysis and set up monitoring/reporting.
• Develop transparent salary progression guidelines.
• Review recruitment to ensure pay transparency compliance.
• Prepare employee-facing remuneration documentation.
• Establish governance, responsibilities, and documentation.
• Identify compliance risks and create implementation roadmap.
• Collaborate with HR, Legal, and Compensation teams.
• Provide expert, hands-on support throughout implementation.
