Job summary

H.B. Fuller Portugal is seeking a Credit Specialist to support cash flow by ensuring timely collection of receivables and managing credit risk. You will collaborate with Sales and Finance teams to improve order-to-cash processes.

You will monitor AR aging, investigate invoice discrepancies, assess credit limits, and contribute to AR reporting and process improvements, with English proficiency and SAP/Excel familiarity preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field.
• 3+ years of relevant experience in finance or AR.
• Proficiency in English, written and verbal.
• Knowledge of finance and accounting principles and data analysis.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Authorization to work in the country of employment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor AR aging and follow up on overdue balances.
• Develop collection strategies to support timely payment.
• Investigate invoice discrepancies and process gaps.
• Assess order releases against credit limits and aging.
• Evaluate customer credit risk and recommend credit limits.
• Partner with Sales to mitigate customer credit risks.
• Monitor and contribute to AR KPIs and targets.
• Support AR reporting and continuous process improvements.
