The Regional FP&A Analyst supports financial planning and analysis activities across the region, providing insights, reporting, guidance, and analytical support to facilitate strategic decision-making and business performance management.
The role works closely with regional finance and operational teams to coordinate reporting processes, budgeting activities, forecasting, and performance analysis across multiple business units within an international organization.
Key Responsibilities
Management Reporting, Analysis & Interpretation
- Coordinate, consolidate, review, and challenge management and business performance reporting across the region.
- Ensure timely and accurate submission of management reporting information and KPI data into the company’s financial systems in accordance with internal deadlines.
- Prepare and analyze monthly management reporting packages, comparing actual performance against budget, forecast, and prior year results.
- Produce consolidated regional reporting packs on a full-year proforma basis.
- Deliver meaningful analysis and interpretation of P&L and KPI variances to support senior management decision-making.
- Prepare additional supporting analysis on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis to meet internal reporting requirements.
- Collect, consolidate, interpret, and distribute KPI reports, including operational and workforce-related metrics and trend analysis.
- Participate in annual target-setting processes and monitor performance against objectives throughout the year.
- Coordinate annual budgeting and forecasting processes for the region, ensuring submissions are accurate, reasonable, and aligned with business trends.
- Develop a strong understanding of the assumptions underlying budgets and forecasts, including revenue drivers, staffing, pricing, inflation, and capital investment plans.
- Prepare capital investment plans and associated funding requests for regional and group-level review.
- Monitor approved Capex assumptions against actual expenditure and highlight significant variances.
- Support pricing setup processes for future financial periods.
- Carry out ad hoc analysis and responsibilities as required.
- Work closely with regional teams to identify opportunities to improve financial systems and reporting efficiency.
- Support implementation, administration, and ongoing development of planning and reporting tools.
- Coordinate and deliver training sessions when required.
Regional Business Partnering & Commercial Support
- Develop strong collaborative relationships with finance and operational stakeholders across the region.
- Participate in review meetings to support understanding of performance against budgets, forecasts, and prior year results.
- Identify key performance drivers and support action planning to mitigate deviations from targets.
- Assist with financial integration and transition activities related to acquisitions or business expansion initiatives.
- Consolidate and communicate financial risks and opportunities that may impact delivery of targets and forecasts.
Skills, Qualifications & Experience
- Professional Accounting Qualification required.
- Minimum 5 years of Financial Reporting and/or FP&A experience, ideally within an international or multi-currency environment.
- Experience with ERP and financial planning systems is advantageous.
- Advanced MS Office skills, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving capabilities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced international environment.

- Experience working cross‑functionally with multiple departments and stakeholders.

- Fluent written and spoken English and Spanish required; additional languages are a plus.

- Previous people management or supervisory experience is advantageous.
