Four Seasons Hotel Ritz Lisbon is seeking a Floor Supervisor in Lisbon to lead a luxury housekeeping team and ensure impeccable standards. The role involves coaching Room Attendants and coordinating daily workloads to maintain property cleanliness and guest satisfaction.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of experience in a luxury housekeeping setting, exceptional attention to detail, and fluent Portuguese and English. Must have work authorization in Europe.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in a luxury Housekeeping department.
• High level of attention to detail and strong work ethic.
• Strong leadership skills and ability to provide feedback to staff and management.
• The candidate must hold the required authorization to work in an European country.
• Reading, writing and oral proficiency in Portuguese and English.

Responsibilities

• Inspect the work of Room Attendants and House Attendants for cleanliness and standards.
• Schedule daily work, track progress, and release rooms for sale.
• Monitor Linen Runners and ensure supplies and cleanliness of corridors and closets.
• Inform Maintenance of any issues and coordinate accordingly.
• Anticipate guest needs, address concerns, and manage guest satisfaction.
• Organize daily work and labour needs based on occupancy.

About the role

We are looking for a Floor Supervisor to join our team in Lisbon.

What you will do

• Inspect the work of a team of Room Attendants and House Attendants responsible for the cleaning and upkeep of a specific area of the hotel. Ensure all standards have been met and train and coach the staff as needed
• Schedule work to be done daily, collect room and floor status sheets for assigned work areas, monitoring each Room Attendants' daily progress. Coordinates work orders in assigned section. Follow up to be sure work is completed and release checkout rooms to be sold
• Monitor the performance of Linen Runners, assuring that there are sufficient supplies on the guest floors and checking cleanliness of guest corridors, stairwells, elevators and Linen Closets
• Inform the Maintenance team regarding any maintenance job needed as soon as you discover the issue
• Anticipate guest needs, ascertain satisfaction and respond urgently and appropriately to guest concerns and requests. Handle guests' complaints and inform to the management team
• Be informed about daily room occupancy forecast and guests' details. Organize daily work and labour needs accordingly
• Hold daily briefing and cooperate with other departments and outsourced staff
• Assist with responsibilities and duties in the absence or heavy volume in the areas of public areas, back of the house, Spa and Laundry
• Support with any other tasks within the division and/or any tasks assigned to by the management team

What you bring

• At least 2 years of experience in the role with proven professional experience within a luxury Housekeeping department
• High level of attention to detail, a strong work ethic and strong communication skills
• Strong leadership skills, the ability to provide feedback to both employees and management and strong follow through
• The candidate must hold the required authorization to work in an European country
• Reading, writing and oral proficiency both in Portuguese and English.
