We Are META in Lisbon is looking for a Firewall / Senior Network Security Engineer with over 7 years of experience to join their team. The ideal candidate will manage complex firewall security rules and collaborate with technical teams in a hybrid working environment.

For this position, the perfect Rhino should have the following skills:

• 7+ years of experience as a Firewall / Senior Network Security Engineer
• Proven ability to write and maintain complex firewall security rules and policies across traditional firewall environments, ensuring alignment with organizational security standards.
• Strong expertise in Palo Alto, Fortinet
• Skilled in conducting diagnostics to identify root causes of network malfunctions and traffic flow blockages, with a structured approach to problem resolution.
• Ability to define, implement, and continuously improve security policy best practices across network security infrastructure.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to provide expert guidance, training, and cross-domain collaboration with technical teams and stakeholders.
• Fluency in English plus French or Portuguese (B2)
• Availability for Hybrid work model 2 x week in Lisboa
• Based in Portugal with Portuguese or EU citizenship, or a valid work permit
