VFX Financial is seeking a highly capable Back-End Software Engineer to lead the design and delivery of our core financial systems. You will own multi-currency accounts, payments routing, treasury ops, risk and compliance workloads, and API integrations in a cloud-native Azure setup.

You will combine hands-on engineering with technical leadership, shaping architecture, setting standards, and guiding a team of engineers while building scalable, secure, and resilient systems.

Qualificações

• 5+ years of .NET development, with strong expertise in C# and .NET Core.
• Experience leading or mentoring engineers within a delivery team.
• Strong experience with Azure services and cloud-native architecture.
• Hands-on experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines, ideally using GitHub Actions.
• Experience working within Agile frameworks and using Jira.
• Solid understanding of software design principles, including clean architecture and scalable system design.
• Experience working in fintech or regulated environments is advantageous.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of robust .NET applications within a cloud-based Azure environment.
• Define and implement scalable system architecture, ensuring performance, reliability, and maintainability across services.
• Drive CI/CD best practices, including the implementation and optimisation of pipelines using GitHub Actions.
• Collaborate with Product, Operations, and Engineering teams to translate complex business requirements into technical solutions.
• Mentor and support engineers, providing technical guidance, code reviews, and fostering growth.
• Establish and uphold engineering standards across coding practices, security, performance, and system design.
• Lead code reviews to ensure high-quality, maintainable outputs.
• Support Agile delivery using Jira to track progress and priorities.
• Promote modern technologies and patterns to enhance platform capability.
• Assist in incident resolution and root-cause analysis for system stability.
• Lead the delivery of enterprise-grade systems in a regulated environment.
• Balance hands-on development with leadership and architectural duties.
