Job summary

Rauva in Lisbon is seeking an Accounting Specialist with 2–5 years of experience to join the Finance team. You will manage day-to-day accounting operations, ensure accurate records, and support AP/AR processes using NetSuite.

The role requires attention to detail, independence, and strong analytical skills, with a hybrid work setup (3 days in-office, 2 days remote) and a competitive salary package.

Qualifications

• 2 to 5 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Hands-on experience with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and bank reconciliations.
• Practical experience using NetSuite.
• Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and internal controls.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines and prioritise tasks.
• Good analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Proficiency in English.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.

Responsibilities

• Process and maintain Accounts Payable transactions including invoices and payments.
• Perform regular bank reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
• Maintain Accounts Receivable records, invoices, receipts and balances.
• Monitor outstanding receivables and follow up on overdue balances.
• Ensure accounting data is accurately recorded in NetSuite.
• Assist with month-end closing and reporting tasks.
• Review transactions for compliance with procedures and policies.
• Support the Finance team with analyses and ad hoc tasks.
• Collaborate with internal teams, vendors and customers to resolve questions.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and documentation.
