Job summary

Innuos is seeking an Accounting, Tax & Compliance Specialist to own key accounting and tax activities and strengthen controls. This hands-on role requires accuracy, judgement and a continuous improvement mindset while collaborating across teams.

You will work with the Finance team in Faro, supporting monthly closings, tax filings and audits, and helping optimize processes and systems including Odoo.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Management or a related field.
• Solid knowledge and practical experience in accounting and taxation.
• Understanding of closing processes, reconciliations and financial reporting.
• Familiarity with financial compliance and internal control principles.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Process-oriented mindset with interest in continuous improvement.
• Experience with ERP systems and financial tools.
• Collaboration and willingness to learn across teams.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate recording and control of accounting transactions.
• Support monthly and year-end closing activities and reconciliations.
• Prepare tax filings, reporting and statutory obligations.
• Stay updated on accounting and tax developments and implement changes.
• Prepare information required for audits and external reviews.
• Contribute to internal controls and risk management processes.
• Document and improve Finance procedures and controls.
• Assist with financial reporting and management information as needed.
• Collaborate on cross-functional Finance initiatives and projects.
• Support Finance process improvements and automation using Odoo.
