Aubay Portugal is seeking an experienced FinOps-focused professional to manage cloud cost governance and optimization across Azure environments. The role emphasizes automation, budgeting, and cost insights within an international team.

We value strong CI/CD expertise with Azure DevOps, PowerShell scripting, and a solid understanding of Azure architecture and PaaS services. Portuguese work eligibility is required, with a hybrid work model offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of production environment experience, with strong Azure maintenance.
• Proven expertise in CI/CD tools, especially Azure DevOps.
• Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation.
• Solid understanding of Azure architecture, networking and PaaS services.
• Fluency in English (B2+ level) for international collaboration.
• Eligible to work in Portugal (Portuguese citizen or valid work permit).
• Alignment with integrity and ethics, strong customer focus and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Implement FinOps standards, policies, and governance to ensure efficient cloud cost management.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, recharging, and the achievement of cost optimization targets.
• Monitor cloud spend, usage, trends, and anomalies, providing timely insights.
• Identify and recommend optimization opportunities without compromising service quality.
• Produce comprehensive reports, dashboards, and actionable recommendations for stakeholders.
• Improve cost tracking, allocation, automation, and financial accountability across teams.
