Job summary

Siemens Global Business Services (GBS) is seeking an experienced Financial Controller to support global functions' actuals, budgets and forecasts. You will monitor reporting accuracy, costs charging and allocation, and participate in month-end closing while coordinating with multiple entities in a hybrid work model.

The role requires a degree in business/Accounting/economics, 2+ years in a similar finance role, fluent English (German a plus), and strong SAP/ESPRIT and Excel skills.

Qualifications

• University degree in business/Accounting/Economics or equivalent.
• At least 2 years experience as Financial Controller or similar.
• Fluent in English; German is a plus.
• Knowledge of SAP and ESPRIT.
• Strong MS Office skills, especially Excel.
• Strong communication and team orientation.
• Ability to work under pressure in a changing environment.
• Dynamic, initiative and pro-active mindset.
• Strong strategic judgment and business ethics.
• Ability to build and maintain customer relationships.

Responsibilities

• Support Global Functions actuals, budget and forecast reporting activity, assuring its completeness and accuracy.
• Monitor and analyze Global Functions reporting errors and clarify deviations.
• Ensure Global Functions costs charging and monitor costs allocation and forecast evolution.
• Prepare key comments and highlights - data report and maintenance.
• Participation in month-end activities.
• Maintain tight communication with entities within responsibility area.

Your mission will be…

• Support in Global Functions actuals, budget and forecast reporting activity, assuring its completeness and accuracy;

We are looking for someone with…

• University Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Economics or equivalent;
• At least 2 years experience as a Financial Controller or similar;
• Fluent in English, German is a plus;
• Knowledge of SAP and ESPRIT is highly valued;
• Good MS Office knowledge, of which experience with Excel is mandatory;
• Communication skills and team oriented;
• Flexibility and ability to work under pressure, in a changing environment;
