Job summary

Accenture is seeking a Team Lead to manage a group of analysts handling end-to-end transaction payments screening, ensuring adherence to AML regulations and client expectations. You will oversee daily workflow, drive performance, and coach the team to meet quality and SLA targets in a dynamic environment.

The role requires a 2+ year leadership background, 3-5 years AML experience, and a solid academic foundation in finance or related fields. EU work eligibility is required, Lisbon-based offices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Economics, Business, Law, or related field.
• English level: C1 (advanced proficiency required).
• Must possess a valid work permit or hold EU/Schengen citizenship.
• At least 2 years of leadership experience in managing teams.
• 3-5 years total experience in AML or Financial Crime Operations.

Responsibilities

• People and Performance Management: Lead, coach, and develop a team of analysts to achieve productivity, quality, and SLA targets.
• Operational Delivery: Oversee day-to-day investigation workflow to ensure timely and accurate completion of alerts.
• Quality and Compliance Oversight: Partner with QC and QA teams to ensure error rates remain within acceptable thresholds.
• Risk and Escalation Management: Identify red flags and escalate high-risk cases as needed.
• Process and Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to streamline workflows and drive improvements.
