Bloq.it is seeking a Financial Analyst to join our finance team in Lisbon. You will analyze revenue streams, organize and structure financial data, automate billing flows, and develop real-time dashboards within our ERP.

The role also covers treasury activities and collaboration with logistics, sales, and D&M to optimize financial operations. The ideal candidate has at least 4 years in finance, strong Excel skills (PivotTables), and fluency in English and Portuguese.

Qualificações

• 4+ years of experience in Finance or Treasury.
• Experience with treasury and banking functions is beneficial.
• Strong analytical abilities for scenarios and variance analysis.
• Advanced Excel skills including PivotTables for data-driven decisions.
• Good communication to present insights to senior stakeholders.

Responsabilidades

• Analyze revenue streams (sales, deployments, maintenance) and model scenarios.
• Organize and structure financial data for reporting and coordinate with stakeholders.
• Automate and streamline billing flows with other departments and partners.
• Develop real-time financial dashboards in ERP for decision-making.
• Own ERP processes and propose efficiency improvements.
• Assess costs and identify optimization opportunities with Controlling.
• Contribute to cash flow analysis and strategic financial planning.
• Support treasury tasks (payments, confirmations, factoring, bank relations).

We are in search of a Financial Analyst to join our innovative team as our new #bloqstar. In this role, you'll play a crucial role in our finance team, leveraging analytical skills and digital proficiency to streamline processes and enhance financial decision-making.

Fair warning: we're scaling fast and the data and reporting capabilities are scaling with us. You'll often need to pull from multiple systems and build the picture yourself before you can analyse it. If you need everything pre-structured to do good work, this isn't the role.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Conduct in-depth analysis of various revenue streams (sales, deployments, maintenance) exploring different variations and scenarios;
• Lead efforts in organizing and structuring financial data for optimal analysis and reporting and collaborate with different stakeholders on managing these processes (salaries, expenses, general accounting);
• Automate and simplify billing flows to improve accuracy, completeness and speed in financial transaction, in cooperation with other departments (logistics, D&M, sales) and external partners;
• Develop financial dashboards to provide real-time insights for informed decision-making in ERP;
• Take ownership in processes within the ERP and propose improvements to streamline efficiency and agility;
• Analyze and assess costs to identify opportunities for optimization and cost-saving measures, collaborate with controlling;
• Play a crucial role in cash flow analysis, providing insights and recommendations for strategic financial planning;
• Be engaged in treasury functions (e.g., payments, confirming, factoring, bank relationships, etc.)

What you’ll bring to the table:

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in Finance;
• Previous experience working in Treasury and Banking functions is highly beneficial;
• Strong analytical abilities to perform different variations and scenarios related to revenue streams and cost analysis;
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including PivotTables, to support data-driven decision making;
• Proficiency in digital tools and a keen interest in leveraging technology to enhance financial processes;
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with senior team members and present financial insights;
• Basic knowledge of the accounting and finance function in companies (e.g., bookkeeping, VAT, payments, invoicing);
• A proactive and solution-oriented approach to address challenges and optimize financial operations;
• Fluent in English and Portuguese, other languages would be a plus.

It would be great if you would also have:

• Familiarity with ERP systems (Odoo) and the ability to expedite their implementation from a financial perspective;
