Job summary

Air Liquide's ALEBS Evolution unit in Lisbon is seeking a Finance Trainee (m/f) fluent in French, German, or Dutch. Over 9-12 months you will support Record-to-Report, Order-to-Cash, and Treasury operations, gaining hands-on experience in core accounting and cash management workflows.

You will learn how to ensure journal accuracy, balance sheet integrity, and collaborative process improvements, with a hybrid work setup and exposure to a diverse international team.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Management, or related field.
• English mandatory and at least one other language: French, German, or Dutch.
• Collaborative mindset with diverse cultures.
• Open to adapting to new environment and ways of working.
• Eager to drive changes in the organization.

Responsibilities

• R2R & Month-End Close: handle recurring journal entries and reconciliations.
• O2C support: assist in orders, billing, and payment reconciliation.
• Treasury operations: daily cash reconciliations and liquidity forecasts.
• Intercompany matching & settlement: cross-border reconciliations and netting.
• Process optimization: automate manual tasks and document procedures.
