Siemens Mobility is seeking a seasoned ERP/Finance professional to lead the transition to Sherpa X, focusing on SAP-enabled processes and IFRS accounting across international business units. You will collaborate with global teams to design and implement finance-related solutions and ensure seamless migration.

Hybrid role with emphasis on project leadership, process optimization, and cross-functional coordination to support worldwide deployments and ongoing improvements.

Qualificações

• Extensive knowledge of accounting and audit processes.
• Experience with SAP ECC 6.0 and SAP S/4 core financials.
• Strong understanding of IFRS and consolidated financial reporting.

Your mission will be…

• Support analysis of internal or external IT technologies and functional solutions to support and develop further automation and digitalization.
• Define framework and ensure Knowledge Management related to WEA transitioning to Sherpa X:
• Knowledge sharing
• Training
• Make sure that financial and accounting processes are defined, designed and put in place in line with the Siemens Global Activity Split, and in line with Sherpa X to-be processes.
• Ensure processes are maintained / documented and updated / monitored and optimized continuously.
• developments of new solutions to be implemented worldwide, e.g. with focus on accounting aspects.
• Make sure that tools and projects get implemented within the WEA companies considering the impact (economical and functional) and the related change management towards the different stakeholders.
• Implement and execute in WEA a train-the-trainer concept for finance-related processes.

Sherpa X relationship

• Closely collaborate with colleagues across Sherpa X program about project’s financial data.
• Including all Business Types (BTs) with regards to the integration from logistics to accounting and related testing, training and coordination to make sure that WEA company processes are being. correctly and fully transitioned to the new environment; taking into account aspects applicable for a successful migration concept and its timely clean-up and preparation activities.
• Collaborate closely and connect within FIN WEA, with WEA Sherpa X Core Team including Sherpa X Subject Matter Experts (SMEs).
• Foster strong exchange with regional and local WEA accounting experts to ensure consideration of all relevant aspects for WEA transition to Sherpa X.
• Contribute to an accurate project planning and set up across Sherpa X, advising on complex business models and IFRS transactions.
• strong focus on the development of New Orders, Revenue and Profit across multiple business segments, and the risks resulting for the Books & Records.

ERP systems SAP/Non SAP related

• Contribute to the development and implementation of finance-related solutions inside, outside or connected to the ERP systems and optimize financial processes within the area of responsibility.

IT relationship

• Collaborate closely with IT Organizations to ensure correct prioritization and handling of accounting topics.

We are looking for someone with…

• Excellent communication, coordination, monitoring and negotiation skills, as part of project management, to perform this job. Working together with different stakeholders in different areas and different levels of the organization requires strong collaboration skills to work closely and target oriented.
• Creativeness, social relationship (network) and professional recognition are necessary to develop the job and to deal with all the possible stakeholders (internal regional/local or external) in a correct and an efficient manner.
• Working in an international environment, language skill is a must: Fluent English is the standard language to communicate, written and verbally.
• Additional languages used in WEA countries as well as German are a plus.
• The role also requires flexibility (time, mindset) and awareness about potential unconscious biases like cultures and diversities.
• Strong knowledge in accounting- and audit-related processes is required. Knowledge on WEA-specifics accounting processes is a plus.
• An extended accounting expertise (project related) is also required to understand the different business areas and needs, to define the best way to facilitate the process transition to Sherpa X for all the WEA companies.
• Deep understanding of the SAP-enabled business processes. Focus lays within the different Financial and Controlling modules in SAP ECC 6.0 and S4 with additional knowledge and integration with other modules, like Projects.
• Capacity and open interest to understand to analyze new technologies and instruments is required next to the traditional enhanced IT skills and tools (windows, apps, KNIME/Alteryx, PowerBI, ML/AI functionality …).
• For this job it is a value add to have experience and knowledge on:
