DePuy Synthes is recruiting for a Finance Lead located in Lisbon, Portugal. This role supports Portugal finance operations by providing financial analysis, reporting, and insights that help guide business decisions across the market.

The Lead partners with local and regional finance and business stakeholders to ensure accurate planning, performance tracking, and compliance. The position offers exposure to cross‑border finance activities and the opportunity to contribute to the financial health

Qualificações

• Typically 5-8 years of relevant finance experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• Preferred: Master’s degree or MBA with a finance or business concentration.
• Languages: English proficiency required; Portuguese or other European/EMEA languages preferred.
• Travel: Limited international travel (approximately 5–10%).
• Certifications: CPA, ACCA, or similar certification preferred but not required.
• Work Authorization: Must be authorized to work in Portugal.

Responsabilidades

• Support Portugal financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting activities across regions.
• Prepare management reports, variance analyses, and performance dashboards for local and regional finance and business leaders.
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with company policies.
• Conduct financial analyses of business results, trends, and drivers to support decision-making.
• Collaborate with regional finance teams to standardize reporting and improve financial processes.
• Support internal and external audit requirements and respond to ad hoc financial requests.
• Apply company financial controls, governance standards, and ethical principles in all activities.
