Job summary

Olympus Medical Products Portugal is seeking a Finance Curricular Intern to support the development of dashboards and management reporting tools using Power BI and data analytics. You will contribute to modernization of reporting processes and help improve data-driven decision making within the Finance department.

The role targets Bachelor's or Master's degree students in Accounting, Finance, Management, or Economics, with basic English and a strong interest in BI and automation.

Responsibilities

• Support the preparation of management reporting and financial performance analysis.
• Assist in cost variance analysis and performance monitoring.
• Import, transform and publish data in Power BI.
• Develop dashboards and visualizations that support decision-making.
• Create and maintain measures, KPIs and business metrics within Power BI.
• Analyze data trends and provide insights to stakeholders.
• Test and validate dashboards for accuracy and reliability.
• Document dashboard development processes and prepare user guides and supporting materials.
• Contribute to automation and continuous improvement initiatives within Finance.

Olympus Medical Products Portugal is a subsidiary of the Olympus Group. This curricular internship offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the modernization and automation of Finance reporting processes through Power BI and data analytics.
The role is focused on supporting the development of dashboards and management reporting tools that enhance data-driven decision making, increase transparency, and improve operational efficiency across the Finance department.

Your responsibilities

• Support the preparation of management reporting and financial performance analysis.
• Assist in cost variance analysis and performance monitoring.
• Import, transform and publish data in Power BI.
• Develop dashboards and visualizations that support strategic and operational decision-making.
• Create and maintain measures, KPIs and business metrics within Power BI.
• Analyze data trends and provide meaningful insights to stakeholders.
• Test and validate dashboards to ensure accuracy, consistency and reliability of reporting outputs.
• Document dashboard development processes and prepare user guides and supporting materials.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree student in Accounting, Finance, Management, Economics.
• Students from Mathematics, Management Information Systems or related analytical disciplines with a strong interest in Finance and Business Intelligence are also encouraged to apply.
