Job summary

Bosch Group in Braga, Portugal invites an Academic Internship in Finance to support internal controls and data analytics. You will learn to execute Vehicle Motion controls, analyze deviations, and document measures in the ICS IT applications, while contributing to continuous improvement and digitalization projects.

The role emphasizes Power BI, SQL, and Python data tasks, with exposure to governance topics and cross-team collaboration. Fluency in English is expected, with German as a plus.

Qualifications

• Ongoing Bachelor or Master studies in Business Administration, Finance, Data Analytics, or related disciplines.
• Interest in risk management, internal controls, and governance topics.
• First experience with data analysis and reporting tools (Power BI, SQL); knowledge of Python is an advantage.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications.
• Analytical and structured working style with attention to detail.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Reliability, proactive attitude, and openness to learning.
• Good English skills in speaking and writing; German knowledge is a plus.
• Attendance at a higher education institution is required.

Responsibilities

• Learn and support the correct and complete execution of VM controls in accordance with central directives and standard work.
• Support colleagues in analyzing deviations and defining adequate measures.
• Contribute to documentation of controls, deviations, and measures in the designated IT application.
• Support follow-up of measures and evaluation of their implementation and effectiveness.
• Participate in continuous improvement and digitization initiatives within the ICS environment, incl. bot automation.
• Contribute to analysis and visualization of ICS data using digital tools (Power BI, SQL, Python).
• Support the VM ICS Manager in governance topics, such as monitoring activities and reporting, risk identification, and RCA.
• Assist in maintaining ICS knowledge platforms (Docupedia).
• Execute additional tasks assigned by the supervisor.

Your contribution to something big:

• Contribute to the documentation of controls, identified deviations, and measures in the designated IT application.
• Support the follow-up of measures and the evaluation of their implementation and effectiveness.
• Participate in continuous improvement and digitization initiatives within the IC​S (Internal Control System) environment. E.g. support the automatation of the controls by developping a BOT.
• Contribute to the analysis and visualization of IC​S data using digital tools (e.g. Power BI dashboards, SQL queries, Python scripts).
• Support the VM IC​S (Vehicle MotionInternal Control System) Manager in governance topics, such as
  • Monitoring activities and reporting
  • Identification of risks not covered by centrally defined controls
  • Assistance in root cause analysis and definition of corrective/preventive measures in case of deviations
  • Contribution to the maintenance of IC​S knowledge platforms (e.g., Docupedia)
• Execute additional tasks assigned by the supervisor.
