Lam Research is seeking a Field Service Engineer to perform on-site repair, maintenance, and installation of complex semiconductor equipment at customer sites in Portugal, with initial assignment to the French office.

The role requires frequent travel, in-depth diagnostics, and collaboration with global teams to deliver high-quality service and fast issue resolution, while maintaining strict safety protocols. Relocation to Portugal is supported and the position is full-time.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Engineering, or related field with 2+ years of experience; or an advanced degree.
• Proficiency in interpreting electrical and mechanical schematics, diagrams, and operation manuals.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed.

Responsabilidades

• Provide quality on-site repair, maintenance service, and installation/relocation start-up services of Lam’s complex systems at customer sites.
• Analyze diagnostics, isolate issues, and solve problems to minimize downtime and downtime-related interruptions.
• Coordinate activities between Lam and the customer and maintain records/reports; act as a subject matter expert on-site.
