Smiths Group in Lisbon, Portugal, is seeking highly skilled Field Service Engineers to join our team. The role involves installing, maintaining and repairing industrial equipment on-site for clients in Portugal, with travel within and beyond the country.

You will diagnose complex issues, provide training to clients, and work with the engineering team to implement robust solutions while keeping CMMS records up to date and ensuring safety compliance.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (Electrical, Mechanical or related field).
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a Field Service Engineer is preferred.
• Proven expertise in diagnostic and repair techniques of industrial equipment.
• Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical and hydraulic systems and ability to read diagrams.
• Proficiency in using computerised maintenance management systems (CMMS).
• Excellent problem-solving and clear communication skills.
• Willingness to travel within Portugal and abroad for assignments.
• Relevant technical certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+) desirable.

Responsabilidades

• Perform on-site installation, maintenance and repair of industrial equipment for clients in Portugal.
• Conduct regular preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot complex technical issues using diagnostic tools.
• Provide technical support and training to clients on equipment usage and maintenance.
• Collaborate with engineering to develop solutions for recurring issues.
• Maintain accurate records of service visits and parts usage in CMMS.
• Adhere to safety regulations and company policies on-site.
• Serve as liaison between clients and company, communicating issues and solutions.
• Manage spare parts inventory and coordinate with logistics for timely delivery.
