iBET in Portugal is offering a MSc Research Fellowship in Natural Bioactives and Nutraceuticals under the SCORE project. The role involves sustainable extraction of collagen from animal by-products of the food industry, including extraction, characterization, and preparation of scientific reports, with active participation in meetings.

The position requires a Master’s degree with a minimum grade of 15, experience in extraction processes and high-pressure technologies, and good English/Portuguese

Qualifications

• Master’s degree with a minimum grade of 15
• Experience in extraction processes of bioactive compounds from natural matrices
• Experience in high-pressure technologies (subcritical and supercritical fluids)
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work in a team
• Fluent in English and Portuguese

Responsabilités

• Conduct research activities within the SCORE project focusing on sustainable extraction of collagen from animal by-products of the food industry
• Perform extraction and characterization tasks and prepare scientific reports
• Actively participate in periodic project meetings
• Contribute to general laboratory tasks and promote collaboration and continuous improvement
