Job summary

Emerson in Portugal seeks a results-driven Technical Sales professional to drive growth across Iberia for Factory Automation. You will actively promote products, build a robust partner network, and lead engagement with Key Accounts.

You will maintain product knowledge, coordinate with marketing, product management, and engineering, and negotiate terms to secure profitable growth. Availability for local and international travel is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of technical sales experience in the industrial market.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Portuguese and English proficiency (written/read/spoken).
• Availability for local and international travel.

Responsibilities

• Actively promote and seek new opportunities to sell all products and solutions included in our portfolio.
• Continuously drive the improvement of customer satisfaction by understanding, communicating, and executing solutions to their needs.
• Participate in customer development activities such as trade shows, fairs and conferences, aiming to promote the sales of products, solutions and services.
• Maintain and continuously develop a high level of knowledge of our products and technologies.
• Drive sales and proposal strategies with the sales support organization.
• Develop and manage the network of partners and distributors for Factory Automation across Iberia, ensuring alignment with growth targets.
• Lead engagement with Key Accounts at Iberia level for Factory Automation, building long-term strategic relationships.
• Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and customer needs to continuously refine the Factory Automation strategy for the region.
• Maintain accurate sales forecasts, pipeline data, and reporting in the CRM system.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, product management, and engineering teams to align offerings with market requirements.
• Negotiate commercial terms and pricing in line with company policies to secure profitable growth.
