Qualifications

• D- grau em Engenharia Mecânica, Engenharia Energética ou área técnica semelhante.
• Confortável comunicar-se em Português e Inglês.
• Capacidade de gerir várias prioridades e tópicos técnicos.

Responsibilities

• Apoiar o desenvolvimento e industrialização de soluções de água quente doméstica.
• Analisar legislação, normas e requisitos técnicos aplicáveis aos produtos.
• Definir estratégias de validação, planos de teste e métodos.
• Executar ensaios de laboratório e avaliações de desempenho.
• Preparar relatórios técnicos claros e comunicar resultados a stakeholders.
• Participar na solução de problemas e análise de causa raiz.
• Colaborar com equipas transversais (R&D, Qualidade, Gestão de Produto, Manufatura).

Job Description

We are looking for a motivated engineer to join our R&D team and support the development, validation and launch of next-generation heat pump water heaters. This role offers the opportunity to work close to product innovation, laboratory testing and engineering decision-making, contributing directly to new product introduction and continuous improvement.

Your contribution to something big:

• Support the development and industrialization of new domestic hot water tanks;
• Analyze current and upcoming legislation, standards and technical requirements applicable to products;
• Define validation strategies, test plans and engineering test methods;
• Execute laboratory testing, measurements and performance evaluations;
• Prepare clear technical reports and communicate results to stakeholders;
• Participate in troubleshooting, brainstorming and root cause analysis activities;
• Support engineering change management processes during product development;
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, Quality, Product Management and Manufacturing.

Qualifications

What distinguishes you:

• Academic Degree inMechanical Engineering, Energy Engineering or similar technical field;
• Knowledge in turbomachinery and aerodynamics and strong interest in thermal systems, refrigeration or sustainable technologies;
• Good communication skills in Portuguese and English;
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and technical topics simultaneously;
• Innovative mindset with willingness to challenge and improve existing solutions.
