Robert Bosch Group in Aveiro invites applications for an extracurricular internship focusing on Industry 4.0, IIoT and manufacturing digitalization. The role is a 12-month, full-time internship within the Home Comfort entity, contributing to Bosch’s global manufacturing and R&D efforts.

Qualificações

• Academic profile in Engineering, Computer Science, or similar.
• Knowledge of IIoT technologies and interfaces (MQTT, OPC-UA, Kafka).
• Curiosity about new technological trends and a proactive, dynamic attitude.
• Willingness to work in a cross-site project team environment.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and study new IIoT technologies to support industrial applications.
• Develop proof of concept projects with IIoT devices.
• Develop IIoT integration standards.
• Cooperate to develop a standard IIoT platform.
• Industry 4.0 connectivity: create interfaces from industrial equipment to MES and IIoT platform.
• Develop intelligent manufacturing systems based on machine learning.
• Develop automation control systems for manufacturing.
• Design and validate new technological solutions for factories worldwide.
• Test and validate the solution in a Factory of the Future lab.

• Academic profile in Engineering (Informatics, Electrical, Mechanical or Physics), Computer Science or similar;

• Willingness to work in a cross-site project team environment.
