Bosch Aveiro invites you to join the Industry 4.0 team for a 12-month extracurricular internship in Aveiro, Portugal. You will contribute to IIoT initiatives spanning hardware, software, and digitalization for Home Comfort manufacturing.

• Academic background in engineering or computer science.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and study new IIoT technologies for industrial use.
• Create proof-of-concept projects with IIoT devices.
• Develop IIoT integration standards and a standard platform.
• Collaborate on interfaces from industrial equipment to MES and IIoT platform.
• Support automated manufacturing concepts and testing environments.

This position offers the opportunity be part of the Industry 4.0 team which works for the whole Home Confort Division with manufacturing plants all over the world. You will be part of a talented, motivated and cross‑functional team that takes very seriously the continuous improvement of collaborators.

Your contribution to something big:

• Develop and study new IIoT technologies (wearables, digital displays, etc) to support industrial applications;
• Develop new proof of concept projects with IIoT devices;
• Develop IIoT integration standards;
• Cooperation developing a standard IIoT platform;
• Industry 4.0 connectivity
  • Create interfaces from industrial equipment to MES and IIoT platform;
  • Develop and design of intelligent manufacturing systems based in machine learning;
• Machine Automation
  • Development of automation control systems for manufacturing;
  • Development of automation control interfaces for test equipment and manufacturing machines;
  • Design and validate new technological solutions for factories around the world;
  • Test and validate the solution in a Factory of the Future a laboratory assembly line

What distinguishes you:

• Academic profile in Engineering (Informatics, Electrical, Mechanical or Physics), Computer Science or similar;
• Undestanding of IIoT technologies and interfaces (MQTT, OPC-UA, Kafka, etc);
• Curiosity about new technological trends and a true team member with proactive and dynamic attitude;
• Willingness to work in a cross-site project team environment.
