Bosch Car Multimedia, S.A. is seeking a software engineer to design and develop high-quality software for automotive applications. You will resolve software issues, implement best coding practices, and contribute to CI/CD processes to ensure reliable delivery.

The role requires knowledge of HTML/CSS/JavaScript, OO programming, and experience with Laravel, Vue.js, and MySQL. You will collaborate in an agile team and prepare manuals and training materials for end users.

• Background in IT or computer science required.

• Experience with full-stack development and web app front-end frameworks.

Job Description

Your contribution to something big:

• Design and develop software;
• Resolve unexpected software problems;
• Apply all the best coding practices to ensure fully functional, reliable and efficient software;
• Develop quality assurance and test procedures for automatic functionality validation;
• Develop safety and security rules or procedures on the developed software;
• Maintain and upgrade existing software with continuous integration and continuous deployment tools;
• Produce technical and user manuals;
• Provide training material and sessions for the end user;
• Cooperate on requirements definition with project team.

Qualifications

What distinguishes you:

• Background in IT or computer science;
• Knowledge of the software lifecycle;
• Ability to implement best practices for Software Quality (testing);
• Ability to develop unit testing components - Full-stack;
• Understand concepts of software engineering;
• Knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming;
• Programming language knowledge in HTML, CSS, PHP, Javascript;
• Experience using Laravel MVC Framework (Entity is a plus);
• Experience with web app development including frontend frameworks and libraries like Vue.js (React or Bootstrap is a plus);
• Database design and management skills in MySQL (MS-SQL or Oracle is a plus);
• Ability to work as a team in an agile environment;
• Good communication skills.
