Metyis is seeking a Project Management Principal in Porto with 8+ years of experience to lead complex programmes across business transformation, technology, and data initiatives. You will oversee multi-disciplinary teams, align delivery with strategy, and drive client value in a fast-growing, global environment.

You will partner with executive sponsors, manage governance, and shape portfolios to achieve measurable outcomes while traveling as needed to engage with clients.

Qualificações

• 8–12 years of experience delivering complex Business Transformation, Technology, Digital Transformation programmes.
• Proven experience managing large-scale programmes, portfolios, or multiple concurrent strategic initiatives.
• Demonstrated success leading multidisciplinary delivery organizations within consulting or client-facing environments.
• Strong expertise in Programme and Portfolio Management including governance, financial management, resource planning, dependency management, benefits realization, risk management, and executive reporting.
• Experience establishing delivery governance models, PMO structures, portfolio reporting, and programme controls.
• Ability to manage competing business priorities while aligning delivery with strategic objectives.
• Experience managing programme budgets, commercial performance, and portfolio-level planning.
• Strong understanding of Digital Transformation, Enterprise Technology, Digital Commerce, Customer Experience, Data & AI, Cloud, ERP, CRM, or enterprise transformation initiatives.
• Ability to align business strategy with programme execution and organizational transformation.
• Experience leading organizational change, business readiness, and enterprise-wide transformation programmes.
• Strong commercial awareness with experience supporting business growth and client account development.
• Exceptional leadership, stakeholder management, facilitation, negotiation, and executive communication skills.
• Proven ability to influence executive stakeholders and lead cross-functional organizations.
• Experience coaching Project Managers and developing high-performing delivery teams.
• Ability to manage ambiguity, competing priorities, and complex organizational environments.
• Strong consulting mindset with structured problem-solving and strategic decision-making capabilities.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, Project Management, or a related discipline.
• MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification is advantageous.
• Professional proficiency in English.
• Willingness to travel internationally based on client and programme requirements.

Responsabilidades

• Lead complex programmes and portfolios comprising multiple projects, workstreams, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver strategic business outcomes.
• Define programme and portfolio delivery strategies, governance frameworks, execution roadmaps, and operating models aligned with client objectives.
• Ensure alignment between business priorities, product roadmaps, technology initiatives, and delivery plans across multiple programmes.
• Drive successful delivery by balancing scope, schedule, budget, quality, risks, dependencies, and benefits realization across the portfolio.
• Monitor programme performance through KPIs, executive reporting, financial oversight, and portfolio health reviews.
• Build trusted relationships with executive sponsors and senior business stakeholders, acting as the primary delivery partner throughout strategic engagements.
• Lead executive steering committees, programme governance forums, portfolio reviews, and strategic planning workshops.
• Provide strategic advice on programme prioritization, investment decisions, delivery approaches, organizational readiness, and transformation governance.
• Proactively manage executive risks, escalations, dependencies, and cross-functional decision making.
• Ensure effective communication across executive leadership, business teams, delivery teams, and external partners.
• Establish and continuously improve programme governance, delivery methodologies, reporting standards, quality assurance, and portfolio management practices.
• Lead multiple Project Managers and multidisciplinary delivery teams, providing coaching, mentoring, and performance guidance.
• Drive resource planning, capacity management, financial forecasting, vendor coordination, and delivery optimization across programmes.
• Promote Delivery Excellence by introducing best practices, reusable frameworks, delivery standards, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure programme outcomes achieve measurable business value, customer adoption, and organizational benefits.
• Support strategic business development through proposal leadership, solution shaping, commercial discussions, and executive client presentations.
• Identify opportunities to expand client relationships and develop new transformation initiatives.
• Contribute to Delivery Excellence capability growth through thought leadership, methodology development, mentoring, recruitment, and knowledge sharing.
• Represent Metyis in executive client engagements, industry forums, and strategic transformation initiatives.
• Travel as required to support strategic client engagements.
