AUMOVIO SE is seeking a seasoned Operations Director / Plant Manager to lead manufacturing excellence in Vila Real, Portugal. You will own P&L, drive profitability, and implement strategic objectives across Quality, Cost, Assets, and Delivery.

Ideal candidates bring 10+ years in manufacturing with 5+ years in senior plant roles, strong automotive/ mobility exposure, and fluency in Portuguese and English. This position emphasizes leadership and strategic execution within a global tech-driven

Qualificações

MBA or advanced degree strongly preferred; executive ed in leadership/strategy a plus.
Minimum 10 years in manufacturing operations, with 5+ years in senior plant management (Plant Manager/Operations Director).
Proven experience in automotive/mobility or Tier 1/2 supplier environment preferred.
Experience managing full P&L with measurable profitability impact.
Strong knowledge of IATF 16949, ISO 9001 and automotive quality standards.
Familiarity with Portuguese corporate, regulatory, tax rules for manufacturing.
Excellent communication with stakeholders from shop floor to boardroom.
Fluent Portuguese (spoken and written) and English (business proficiency).
Additional European languages (German) are a strong advantage.

Responsabilidades

Own plant P&L and budget with accountability for revenue, EBIT/EBITDA, productivity, cost, and working capital.
Drive profitability and growth through disciplined investment decisions.
Translate corporate objectives into plant-level strategies for customer satisfaction and efficiency.
Lead Technology Roadmap implementation for capacity expansion and Industry 4.0 standards.
Champion quality excellence with robust standards and zero-defect culture.
Build organizational capability via workforce planning and knowledge management.
Invest in leadership development and talent retention for long-term growth.
Represent AUMOVIO in industry forums and community engagements.
Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, environmental and governance requirements.
